Bachelor Nation

About two weeks ago I came across the above video (h/t Tom Leykis), but only recently have I watch it in its entirety. At first I’d thought it was yet another endorsement of the “expatriate and find a feminine wife” set of the manosphere, but it’s a much deeper documentary than this.

Although this video is directed towards the African-American demographic, what these men and women describe is reflective of the greater endemic that feminine social primacy has wrought in society on whole. Overall I think the video illustrates some strong points in regard to the reality of the imbalanced dynamic between men and women today, but it doesn’t really account very well for the causes of these imbalances.

The overarching narrative comes from the mistaken idea that egalitarian equalism is an achievable ideal between the sexes. So within this context when a man describes his need to be the leader in his family, to be the provider as well as the teacher of his children and the person with the answers in his marriage, his characterization becomes (conveniently) one of an outdated masculine insecurity.

In an equalist ideal state it shouldn’t matter to him that his wife is more educated or earns more money than he does. As Sheryl Sandberg has once again illustrated, men should be reprogrammed to feel more comfortable in traditionally women’s supportive and submissive roles – and any discomfort with that is evidence of an antiquated masculine insecurity or “feeling intimidated” by a Strong Woman®.

I covered this reprogramming effort in Vulnerability:

The Masks the Feminine Imperative Makes Men Wear

To explain this second problem it’s important to grasp how men are expected to define their own masculine identities within a social order where the only correct definition of masculinity is prepared for men in a feminine-primary context.

What I mean by this is that the humanness that men wish to express in showing themselves as vulnerable is defined by feminine-primacy.

For the greater part of men’s upbringing and socialization they are taught that a conventional masculine identity is in fact a fundamentally male weakness that only women have a unique ‘cure’ for. It’s a widely accepted manosphere fact that over the past 60 or so years, conventional masculinity has become a point of ridicule, an anachronism, and every media form from then to now has made a concerted effort to parody and disqualify that masculinity. Men are portrayed as buffoons for attempting to accomplish female-specific roles, but also as “ridiculous men” for playing the conventional ‘macho’ role of masculinity. In both instances, the problems their inadequate maleness creates are only solved by the application of uniquely female talents and intuition.

Perhaps more damaging though is the effort the Feminine Imperative has made in convincing generations of men that masculinity and its expressions (of any kind) is an act, a front, not the real man behind the mask of masculinity that’s already been predetermined by his feminine-primary upbringing.

So within this context a man is already hamstrung for ever expressing the idea that he feels he needs to be the Man in his marriage. That ridiculous need shouldn’t matter to men because in an equalist framework it shouldn’t matter to women that he’s not out-earning her or is more educated.

Of course the problem with this fantasy is that it does actually matter to women that a man leads and a man performs. Women resent supporting men. No matter how an equalist mindset sells it, humans evolved for a complementarity that will always confound equalism.

Pay close attention to the sentiments of the women in this video. Every one of them embraces the empowerment meme that equalism has them internalize, yet all still feel that pairing with a man they deem less than themselves is a compromise or “settling” for him. They’re doing him the favor by compromising their Hypergamy with a suboptimal man.

What this illustrates is the inherent conflict between equalism and complementarity. In spite of men’s reprogramming for accepting a “supportive” role, and despite women’s empowered aspirations of self-sufficiency, both still have an innate need for a gender-complementary relationship that they cannot reconcile in an equalist social framework. Women still want to pair with a man they can be aroused by and respect. They still want that +1 to +2 SMV differential that promotes a strong attachment to him. Men, in contradiction to all known risks and in contradiction to any expectation of appreciation, still want to pair with a feminine woman who idealistically supports him, follows his lead and willingly nurtures him with her body and spirit.

What this equalist vs. complementarity dichotomy presents to men and women is that it fundamentally places both sexes into the Subdominant model of intersexual hierarchies. In that model the man is perceived as another dependent ‘child’ for her to support while he wonders why the supportiveness his equalist conditioning has taught him women need isn’t appreciated for what it is. Not only this, but again within that framework, a woman feels indignant for having to apologize for the ambition and education that equalism has convinced her she should be empowered by and men should appreciate by default.

Love Interests

Within this egalitarian framework the difference between men’s idealistic concept of love and women’s opportunistic (Hypergamy based) concept of love are placed into distinct contrasts. For all of the obfuscation about imbalances in education, a man’s idealistic concept of love predisposes him to believe the equalist lie that his performance shouldn’t be the basis of her opportunistic concept of love.

When you listen to the sentiments of both the men and particularly the women in this video you’ll see this played out. When a woman assumes the dominant role in a relationship her provisioning becomes the benchmark for that dominance. Of course, this is a reversal of the conventional, complimentarian model, but when women are put into that reversal the reality of their opportunistic concept of love becomes uncomfortably obvious to love-idealist men. While Open Hypergamy is becoming increasingly more obvious on a social scale, it’s far more poignant on a personal, in-your-face scale within a modern marriage or relationship.

Predictably the documentary veers away from this intergender conflict and places the blame for that conflict squarely on the shoulders of characteristically irresponsible men not being the fathers they should be – blaming an individualist mindset for men’s absence from the family without addressing the glaring individualism the women display in the first half of the video. The equalist narrative has to be reset and in order to do that it’s got to conveniently dip back into the conventional complementarity well and appeal to the traditional sense of duty to family and compliance with exactly the responsibility equalism would otherwise chafe against.

However, what equalism and the Feminine Imperative can’t sweep away is men’s overt contingencies for Open Hypergamy. One of those very deductive contingencies is moving to another country where the environment favors men’s sexual strategy, not to mention a refreshing sense of being appreciated by conventionally feminine women. If Game isn’t appealing and going your own way makes you lonely, it only makes sense to go fish where the fish are.

I recently read Bachelor Nation on CNS News, and once again it predictably foists the responsibility for men’s reluctancy to marry on irresponsible ‘kidult’ men.

“Far too many young men have failed to make a normal progression into adult roles of responsibility and self-sufficiency, roles generally associated with marriage and fatherhood,”

Nowhere will you see a woman lay claim to the social fallout feminine primacy has effected on themselves. Female importance is the socially correct narrative, thus the failings of that narrative, the failings of feminism, and the failings of the agenda of equalism are due to men unwilling to cooperate in seeing it succeed. 70% of men aged 20 to 34 are not married and the default presumption is that it’s men who are unwilling to accept their adult responsibility and marry a woman who will statistically earn more than him and resent his inability to measure up to her performance standards – the standards made glaringly evident in this documentary.

In a feminine-primary social order to be a ‘responsible’ man is to comply with dictates of women’s sexual strategy while accepting her dominant and counter-feminine role and demeanor. To be a ‘real man’ he must accept being relegated to being her dependent while still being expected to be a good father. To be an ‘adult’ he must accept the doctrines of equalism while still being beholden to the responsibilities of conventional complementarianism.

  1. First of, thank you again for this blog and both of your books.

During lunch break today I read this article in the weekly german newspaper Die Zeit:

    https://translate.google.de/translate?sl=de&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zeit.de%2Fgesellschaft%2Ffamilie%2F2015-03%2Frollenverteilung-maenner-frauen-familie-beruf&edit-text=

This text is diametrically opposed to your general message and to your books (the second one arrived today). It basically appeals to men to accept family models where men earn less and perform household chores, it even tries to reason that this is a easy way out if your career begins to falter. The -lowT, pudgy- author doesnt even try to bring up any studies that would provide evidence that this is a way both men and women find practical and acceptable in the long run.

The only interesting and true observation is that these discussions are only happening between women in the public spere, men remain silent.

This is an aspect where the manosphere/RedPill still has the highest obstacles imho, the thoughts and concepts are barely a part of the public narrative.

  2. Haven’t watched the whole video yet, but this post is gold! This exactly the situation in white america as well, except the men have been more compliant with the FI. I am back in school, and teach in college as well, and I can say that black young men, in my experience, go RP much quicker and sooner, while I’ll see white men rationalize and buy the FI much more for some reason. I’m not saying that to start some racial flame war, but I think it’s because the economic situation for black men, as well the culture itself, makes it all the more glaringly obvious whats going on and easier to see.
BTW Rollo. my apologies for missing the chance in the last post to congratulate you on your new book. I hadn’t bought the last one but now will have the two as a set I am looking forward to reading when I’m done this semester.

  3. Just when I think this site cannot get better Mr. Bestseller goes even deeper into the matrix and exposes more lies. If you become an even more popular writer please keep posting, do not forget us..

  4. Actually Zweireiher – the article shows clearly that women still expect men to be the breadwinners and are very ready to divorce his ass as soon as he stops functioning in that regard.

The German media somehow starts to acknowledge that problem. In the article they even describe German family politics as an echo-chamber. I wonder if the Washington Post or the New York Times could have written such an article. Die Zeit is a major newspaper and they have half-heartedly at least started to addressing the issue.

Of course nothing will change despite the book of that divorced demoted journalist being a bestseller. Feminism is way too enticing for the feminine imperative. The global social engineers know what they are doing – women will still try to be equalist whenever it suits them, strangely finding those effeminate men neither arousing nor useful as the modern Western job market makes it even tougher to be a provider male. I foresee more destruction of family – the only unit led by strong men which could rise against real Brave New World tyranny.

Everything is going along just as planned.

  5. @Zelcorpion last paragraph:

“Equality should mean, that all options are negotiable: classic, both working fulltime, both working half time – but also, that men assume the role of the supporting, half time working partner. For this, both sides have to accept, that the man is more close to the child than the woman – and loosing in the manly competition.”
A clear advocacy for a family model that will never ever work out.

But yes, sometimes the Zeit will acknowldge problems, especially relating to custody battles, but I have never seen an article online where the FI is called into question.

Harald Martenstein of course being the exception.

  6. @Zweireiher – yeah the end comment must always be the one promoting the usual agenda. But at least they state the truth with regard to the current prevalent perceptions. The comment section is interesting as well with many men agreeing and some career women chiming in about being the breadwinner and her husband a stay-at-home dad. The reality is of course that indeed some dominant men with massive Game have lived with much more successful women, I severely doubt that even most Alphas with Game could manage that well long-term unless she is a billionairess who does not feel the pressure of real work life. The divorce stats for stay-at-home dads are somewhere in the vicinity of 90%+. That speaks a clear language.

  7. Thank you for sharing this video with us. It is just red pill enough to share with my friends without them backlashing against it as being misogynistic. My biggest issue with the video is that money is the primary issue when it is not. Men want to feel like MEN but have been conditioned to accept women that will not treat them like men or (like you already stated in your article) are conditioned to believe that our natural desires and wants are unnatural or childish. I suspect it latched onto money as the reason for the “Frustration” because the people doing this documentary don’t have the knowledge of the science that you have. My friends are still too skeptical of the science so I doubt larger society would be willing to accept it anyway. (I told one of my friends that he should adjust his attitude with his girl based on her menstrual cycle AND I showed him the science behind it. He though i was Bullshitting him)

The more men are exposed to reality outside their own I.E. the way women treat men in Brazil the more we will realize that we don’t have to settle for ANYTHING that society tries to tell us to settle for and that if we have the will to improve ourselves nothing is beyond our reach.

  8. I have the impression the women in Germany are a little less cutthroat than their US counterparts about differences in income as long as the male is high enough on the achievement scale. For example, my boss runs his own Max Planck Inst and earns considerably less than his several years younger 8/10 wife who is a Dermatologist.
In my time in the US I always have the impression that women, even at big academic conferences, will size you up a lot more about you present and possible future potential income.
Of course they are at the same time easier to game 😉

  9. Right. I think some people are missing the point of that documentary, although it doesn’t discuss every aspect of black men who prefer this lifestyle. But you said it; once you explore your options, you have no reason to settle, or stay. The same can be said for women.

  10. “However, what equalism and the Feminine Imperative can’t sweep away is men’s overt contingencies for Open Hypergamy. One of those very deductive contingencies is moving to another country …”

I predict in the future that they will at least try to stop that particular contingency.

  11. I realise you were delving into a deeper issue but, to be shallow for a second, the difference between the American and Brazilian women in that video is just night and day. The long flowing hair vs. the shoulder length cut. The difference in voice as well and Portuguese can be a very harsh language compared to Spanish or other European languages.

Having visited Brazil last year I don’t think the women they interviewed are very representative of the overall population (but then neither were the American women interviewed), there’s a pretty big weight problem there now. You can see in the nightlife shots that a large proportion aren’t taking care of their bodies.

I live in Ireland and we have a big Brazilian community here. Over the last year I’ve usually had two or three Brazilian girlfriends simultaneously and I just couldn’t imagine going back to most Western women for anything other than short term sex. Watching Irish women here stumble around like baby giraffes in their heels, the extremely revealing clothing despite the temperature, overly applied makeup with pencilled in eyebrows, heavy drinking. It’s not pleasant. The banter can be a lot of fun though.

Compared to the fun, dancing, warmth, sensual dress, femininity and raw beauty of Brazilian women there’s no competition. And these are the ones who were independent enough to fly to a new continent without their family or friends. I’ve had plenty of great encounters with Irish and American women of course but there really is nothing that can compare to a feminine woman, it just has to be experienced.

Congrats on the book, I ordered 3 copies, 2 for my younger brothers. I gave them the first book as Christmas presents already. Keep up the great work, I have a much deeper understanding of all the game I learnt over the last 2 years thanks to your writing. And my own desires as well which most PUA companies don’t usually discuss besides showing you how to get them.

  12. I wonder if there will be a lost generation after which things will rebalance?

There will be several lost generations, not just one. We are in a deep hole and we haven’t stopped digging.

70% of men aged 20 to 34 are not married

As a man in this age group who is not married, I can tell you that I don’t expect to see it change for the better any time soon.

  13. Is it just me, or does the FI/equalism also set women where they must believe themselves better than any man they eventually find? Crest’s latest toothpaste commercial leads off, for no apparent reason, “When my husband started having better dental check-ups than me…” She has to step up her game with their toothpaste, lest she be outperformed by her hubby on the dental scorecard! It’s a throwaway line with no other connection to the rest of the commercial; but I’m sure the marketers put it in there for a reason.

  14. I just finished reading Fire in the Belly, by Sam Keen. I was looking for some “positive male role model” stuff, but got a pretty heavy does of the FI type of thinking there as well. That book has it’s merits, but is still deeply rooted in the “good men are feminine men” ideology… he calls it out a bit, but moreover seems to agree w/ that kind of thinking.

That was written in 1991… I’m interested to see how far this kind of thinking goes back. Many of the lines are word-for-word what I hear in the media today… 25 yrs later.

And he hammers on the point that “masculine = fatherhood,” and to a lesser degree “being a good husband” (which, of course, includes doing more household chores and abandoning classic maleness).

I’m in my early 40s, an eager and prolific student of game. Feeling my power, loving it, so are the girls. Never been married, and never seem so unlikely to make that decision. Kids… have a lot of appeal, but I see them as the link that would tie me to “her” forever. Can’t do that right now.

Can I be a “real man” without going following the FI? I know that is true. Can I be a “full spectrum” man while avoiding kids/family??? I don’t know.

For now… everyday I see more/more of the hypergamy… girl after girl in relationship that is more than willing to play w/ me as the “bad boy.” I like this side infinitely better, vs the castrated, frumpy, neutered “khaki Dad.”

    Game is my solace.

  15. (Huh. Might have to retract my earlier observation. Just saw a longer version of that commercial, where she’s conforming to hubby’s toothpaste choices.)

  16. @introvertsuccess

Hard to say. As the gentleman in the video points out, we live in a knowledge based society now, rather than a manufacturing based one. The physical playing field has been leveled, so it’s unlikely that traditional gender roles are going to revert to a more natural form on their own anytime soon (barring some kind of societal collapse and return to a localized agrarian lifestyle or a Red Pill awareness pandemic).

Here’s a less-than-uplifting open hypergamy field report: Less than a week ago, one of my favorite long-time nice/nasty-girl plates started a predictably transparent push for commitment. After she finished telling me how much I meant to her and how strong her feelings were for me, she indicated that she needed to know our status because she was considering dating another guy (typical beta wannabe poacher) that I know. She wasn’t playing girl dread game, either. She was totally serious—and she is not the only plate I have that is completely open about her hypergamy around me. They all LOVE that I’m so “non-judgmental” toward them so they tell me virtually everything (obvious truth being that I just don’t care that much–I’m only in it for sex, fun, science, and laughs).

I chuckled and reminded her that since I was a terrible choice for a “serious boyfriend seeker” that she should definitely go after the “nice” guy and that she and I should just be social friends (see ya later). I also laughingly mentioned that she needed to seriously work on her relationship sales pitch.

Four days later, she’s back and wanting to spend the night and “talk” about things. Of course that’s not happening. I have reduced her status to outer orbit third-string plate because of her hilariously graceless (though admittedly amusing and instructive) performance. I fully maintain my RP standards (dubious as they are), plus I have several other intriguing plates that I’d prefer to replace her one designated night of the week with.

I’m endlessly amused by the hamster—and I don’t mean that sarcastically. I guess that’s why as a kid I spent all that money on Habitrail® gear.

  17. I saw this documentary 2 yrs ago…well analysed sensei!

Men, black or otherwise have been brow beaten to kingdom come for the last 3/4 decades, which is why even as they pursue the FI-hypergamy-contingency plan they still believe that there’s ‘hope’ in finding a feminine partner based on equalism…and of course the women in the doc still place the blame on men without being fully aware of what the FI has done to black, and American, or nuclear really, family as well – SHOCK!

“Far too many young men have failed to make a normal progression into adult roles of responsibility and self-sufficiency, roles generally associated with marriage and fatherhood,”

Fuck me! This is just like the NPR article, where the daft women are quoted as saying shit like,
    – “Let’s be honest, women don’t want to hear that they can’t have it all….And when it doesn’t happen, women are really angry.”
    – “I just feel like it’s something else they lump onto women that we have no control over,”
    – And of course this is topped of at the end with, “The ticking biological clock, she says, is not a burden women should bear alone.”

May more men discover TRP and live a life with developed hypergamy contingencies.

  18. From the article:

“The high percentage of bachelors means bleak prospects for millions of young women who dream about a wedding day that may never come.”

To feminism: Q.E. muthafuckin’ D! Like we give a fuck!
“WAAAA! Men aren’t doing what we want/what will make them better for us!” 死ね!。。。バカ!

  19. @introvertsuccess

I wonder if there will be a lost generation after which things will rebalance?

You mean like the one born any time after the late 60s?

    @The Diplomat

I chuckled and reminded her that since I was a terrible choice for a “serious boyfriend seeker” that she should definitely go after the “nice” guy and that she and I should just be social friends (see ya later).

Oh very nice Boyfriend Destroyer material there. I approve.

Four days later, she’s back and wanting to spend the night and “talk” about things.

… aaaaand it works exactly as designed.

I have reduced her status to outer orbit third-string plate because of her hilariously graceless (though admittedly amusing and instructive) performance.

Exactly the right reaction. I’m gonna give you a 9/10 for this performance. You only lose a point because I want video. Talk about a teachable moment. Textbook shit right there.

    @kobayashii

“The ticking biological clock, she says, is not a burden women should bear alone.”

Meanwhile, men better enjoy bearing the constant pressure they feel from the moment puberty hits until a woman is ready to hop off the CC. Even then she doesn’t “owe” him sex. Sweet sentiment there, ladies. I wonder why none of us give a fuck about your predicament.

  20. I often hear this “Be a gentleman…” or “I’m looking for a gentleman…” from girls, some of whom I’m gaming.

Another I heard was “I want a guy who will take care of me….”

Your post here translates these into: “I want a guy I can control and shame into doing what I want under the guise of appearing helpless…”

It’s taken a lot of trial and error to realize that this concept of the Red Pill is basically unplugging from the above rationalizations and framing.

  21. I spent 11 years in Universities and got to the top of the corporate ladder – If I could turn back time I’d tell my 16 year old self to be a plumber or a bricklayer.

You can still earn 6 figures — but on YOUR terms – –

    Women are secondary to that

  22. Wife makes more $$$ than husband = dry pussy/dead dick(for ever)

Wife makes less $$$ than husband =
    Wet pussy/stiff dick(for ever)

    You go girl.

    What a predicament !

You want equality? YOU CAN’T handle equality.

  23. “”and any discomfort with that is evidence of an antiquated masculine insecurity or “feeling intimidated” by a Strong Woman®.””

Don’t let any western women ever tell you they are STRONG.

Best girlfriend I ever had was when I was 24, she was Vietnamese and spent the ages fro 7 – 14 living in a refugee camp.

  24. This IS SO SAD.

I have a close friend that is 40+ Graduate Degree and has a good career as an Engineer. She is also an overweight Black Woman.

Never had a husband or live in boyfriend … and honestly has the attitude that she needs Good Looks, Decent Income, Decent Family for her to even bother to date a black man.

Yeah when I mention that Unicorn and Bigfoot would be easier to find… she just laughs but she knows the odds.

She has this deep fear that if she compromises that she will get stuck with some broke ass baby daddy who will take what she’s earned. (not unlike many men feel about gold diggers). How did it come to this? How did a whole generation of Black Women get educated to only submit to men who are Ubermale specimens?

Oh yeah feminism… Feminism teaches these black ladies that they are special snowflakes and it’s their minds and accomplishments that will get them a good life and husband.

Kinda sick how reality is not following Feminist Theory isn’t it?

And I believe that what is happening to Black Women is actually an indicator of what will happen to White women in the US.

And I also believe that the response of White Men will be… to go elsewhere for females.

So Sad… As a society we should start teaching girl it’s ok to be dependent on a male again.

  25. When it comes to gender roles and relationships the West has become an utterly dystopian nightmare. Kafka couldn’t have even imagined this.

  26. “What this illustrates is the inherent conflict between equalism and complementarity. Men, in contradiction to all known risks and in contradiction to any expectation of appreciation, still want to pair with a feminine woman who idealistically supports him, follows his lead and willingly nurtures him with her body and spirit.”

Excellent, Rollo! This post summarizes and reconnects lot of things you’ve said before very well. It reframes the perspective, as most of your best posts do.

Oddly, I’m reminded of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpbuTeAuJWA

From ‘The Gladiator.’ The emperor Commodus stabs the gladiator Maximus before fighting him, and commands that his wounds be concealed.

Interestingly, the entire ending scenes of the movie basically showcases feminine tactics pitted against masculine tactics. It could be instructive, to the observant viewer. But I digress.

I could say a lot about the gender dysfunction you’re talking about. For me though it’s late and I’m a bit the worse for all the ale, ha. I’ll just say for now that the Matrix analogy is never more apt than here. You don’t ever realize how suppressed your gender’s urges are until the suppression is revealed to you as a lie. Once I started to discover my masculinity, I was astonished at how natural the whole garb felt. It was like being spoken to in a native language I hadn’t heard in 25 years, that I had all-but forgotten. And I see now how much my lack of masculinity hurt myself, and how much uncertainty and turmoil it caused the first girl I really fell for. And I saw, even back then, how much she longed to be just a girl, how much her forced masculine role hurt her – even as she asserted her dominance and inability to be tamed, accompanied by a nervous giggle at the end (the first real non-abstract glitch in the matrix I remember – she was signalling her discomfort in the role she conciously assumed).

  27. One guy in the video kept referring to the united states as the Matrix, after watching the whole thing I realized if you are living in North America you are operating in the Matrix. Living in Brazil would be awesome, now I know why Roosh travels so much.

  28. Rollo, how do we know your married? That last part of the post was intense, it makes me think how hard it would be to come to those conclusions while being in a ltr

  29. Rollo,

Thanks for being todays watson and crick

If you’re ever in the south east drinks on me

  30. @Bromeo

Rollo, how do we know your married?

You don’t. But really, why would a married guy write 90% of what Rollo writes? If you were gonna start doubting, the time was a while ago. Kinda pointless to wonder about it now.

    @Nathan

If you’re ever in the south east drinks on me

Starting to suspect if Rollo were to take up every offer he got from guys in the ‘sphere for drinks, he’d be drunk from here ’til his dying day. Speaking of, next time I tour to the western US on the bike if I find myself Nevada-ish you better let me buy you a drink or two, Rollo. I swear you’re the older brother I never had but definitely fucking needed.

  31. Seen that docu before also. Those who would’ve liked it to look more beyond the topic of income levels may not be experienced that well on the importance of income levels and material social cues to most black women.
And somebody mentioned that they wouldn’t be surprised if some kind of restrictions were placed on this type of exploring ones options. They already are. You’ll be able to find articles or actually laws or policies in place or being talked about. Under the guise of the latest epidemic of trafficking.
You did notice the woman in the docu who refered to the men who travel down to Brazil and meet women as predators?
If the women in the video are thought to not be representative of the population of Brazil, you’re not going to have men who do meet women down there choosing someone that is like somebody they could meet here. So you might get an impression that you don’t see as high a percentage of nice looking ones just walking down the street as you do in the video. But does that really negate anything about men who are choosing to look in an entirely different country and are finding that it’s a better choice and well worth it?

  32. Say only 10% of the women in Brazil are HB6+. They’ve already doubled the average of the USA. Then on top of that you add in truly feminine personalities and actual expression of appreciation for men?

American women should be xenophobic as hell.

  33. The more I read on here the more I realize how much of a mountain I have to climb. However, the knowledge is exhilarating. I feel so fortunate to have come to this knowledge. Thanks Rollo.

I also want to share my knowledge with so many men I come across but they are neither interested or too plugged in to even see. I joined a Facebook group and all the women and the white knights there would constantly attack me when I tried to point out the Red Pill truths. It became futile and I eventually realized how much of a waste of time it was and finally left.

Since we are pretty much of one spirit here what do you guys think about a yearly Red Pill convention. I ask partly because of those guys wanting to buy Rollo a drink. Obviously he’s not gonna meet up with everyone but at a convention everyone can meet at once.

Of all the things I’ve been reading on this site one of the things I’ve not been able to understand is using a woman’s ovulation cycle to know how to treat her or deal with her. Can someone explain this better for me here or e-mail me jafyk@yahoo.com. Explain it in layman’s terms. How do you know where she’s in her cycle without asking her.

  34. The girl I was flirting with a little while back, the HB10, was also, at least as far as I could tell, a hardcore feminist, or some variation of it. She’s very successful, completely independent, and had a lot of negative things to say about men, and how men treat women, although she would correct herself as if I was an exception.

Here’s the interesting part: she almost started crying at one point. We’d gotten on the topic of marriage and she said how she thought she might marry this one guy eventually, but she didn’t know, and how she didn’t think she’d ever get married, or want to get married, or have kids or anything, same echoed comments about why having kids and a career don’t have to necessarily be in conflict, etc., typical feminist stuff like that.

And that’s around the time her voice started getting all shaky and then she started saying something about how sometimes she gets really emotional though, and she can’t handle it, and doesn’t know what to do with any of it. I can’t remember what she said exactly but it was along those lines, and she sounded like she was on the verge of crying.

It was like zero to sixty, normal and just echoing some typical feminist comments to looking like she was going to burst out crying. I got the impression that she was fighting pretty hard to contain herself.

Then she made some comment about men being emotionally resilient or something, like an unmovable rock of support, and that that was all she was looking for and wanted because she couldn’t handle herself on her own, or her emotions, etc. whatever she’s dealing with.

I forget what we talked about after that, but that was the end of it – it was like she never even brought anything up about it. At the end of the night she said she was feeling freaked out and she didn’t want to seem weird or anything, but asked if I could walk her to her car. So I did, and she hugged me before she got into her car and left.

I smoked a cigarette after and just took the whole experience in. I know better now, having found RM, and I’ve just been chilling on my own lately. Normally I’d get ONE-itis like crazy in a situation like that. But having never exchanged any contact information and not even knowing where she lives – all I could do was just process what happened.

And that was very interesting. So there you have it. An HB10, and I mean really a 10, she obviously works out regularly, great curves and shape in general, model-quality face, beautiful long hair, looked very feminine —

    — so despite all the parroting of feminist concepts, a borderline sense of misandry, seemingly expressing a low opinion of men in general — it didn’t seem to ring true at the deepest level. Especially when she looked like she was going to cry and explicitly said she had trouble handling her emotions/getting overwhelmed and that “that’s what she was looking for,” in reference to men being emotionally strong/resilient, like a rock she could lean on.

My priority right now is myself. Protecting myself, keep developing myself, taking care of myself — ONE-itis isn’t on the menu, and I’ll have to be particularly careful if I do ever get involved in any kind of relationship. It’s easy to think you’re all set when you’re completely isolated, but when you go out in the world and get a tiny taste of what you’ve been craving in private for years — it’s very hard to resist and you find that you’re not as strong as you thought you were, and you have a lot more work to do.

That was one of the only times in my entire life that I had some one-on-one time with a girl that I was actually really attracted to, and that shook me a bit. It’s hard not to have craving come in when you’re in a situation like I’m in.

So anyway, I did find that really interesting. Feminism is making a lot of women lose out without them even realizing it — we can’t go against our natures.

I grew up in a household where my dad was not only the provider, but the respected leader. The real king of the castle. Despite all the problems I had growing up, I feel like that gave me a very secure sense of masculinity.

And I could see it in that girl I was talking to — what the real nature of the game is. Feminism is just an empty echo. It’s brainwashing. But the true nature is still there under the surface even if you dress it up.

She was on board with the whole successful independent woman thing, and how she thought men perceive it as a threat to their masculinity that she was so successful — and I knew the reality had nothing to do with that.

The contrast between hearing all the parroting of feminist ideas, and how she was successful and independent (and she is), with her almost crying and saying something about having problems handling her emotions and getting overwhelmed sometimes, and wanting a man to support her —

    — that says it all.

As for what to do about it all? I’m focusing on myself. I still have a lot to learn. I’ll admit after that night I’ve been thinking about her a lot, but like I said we never exchanged any contact information and I don’t know where she lives. She shows up randomly once in a while – last time I saw her was months and months ago. So basically she’s as good as gone. I think that’s why the few times I have interacted with her it went so well, actually — outcome independence. It’s never 100%, of course, but I always thought whenever I saw her I might never see her again, and she’d always show up unexpectedly, which was a huge push for me to talk to her and have some fun while I could, because I never knew when I’d get another chance, if ever.

So it’s very good practice for me. It was a great lesson and having my ONE-itis rekindled gives me a chance to analyze it and stop letting it run my life for me. Like as I’m writing all this out I’m feeling so ridiculous, like dude, let it go.

But yeah — what a lesson that was. I feel like, between my own feelings and her behaviors that I was observing, I had the totality of Red Pill knowledge I’ve gained over the past while condensed into one night.

  35. @dayesofgamecon: “And he hammers on the point that “masculine = fatherhood,” and to a lesser degree “being a good husband” (which, of course, includes doing more household chores and abandoning classic maleness).” / book:

No small wonder – females proclaim to love “fathers”…just like feminists.
The redifined [fathers] in contrast to true, patriarch fathers are
    a) socially unempowered on a regular basis – a support system for daugthers’ hypergamy fucks and mothers’ beta bucks after the fun phase
    b) legally constrained in a socially opaque way – behind the window dressing of being “the man”, they are one call to the police away from being financially gutted and legally destroyed/divorced
    c) have no powers of dicipline anymore besides a show-off, making them sock puppets for real life consequences where daugthers and bastard spawn can “test limits” as a training for later in life

    @zweireiher et. al.:
Good to see more readers from Germany here, as the main source for PU-info in Germany is getting more and more better-beta by the day.
    Spread the word.

    https://therationalmale.com/2012/09/25/your-friend-menstruation/

Regarding a woman’s ovulatory cycle. The above link to Rollo’s essay sums it up. It’s quite simple. She will be more dtf on days 7 to 14 after the start of her period. During this time if you are going to make a move (even in a LTR) that is the time to Alpha up and make a move. The rest of the time just before and during menstruation you are better off showing a bit of Beta (comfort).

As to how to know, don’t give women that much credit for concealing their hormones. Be observant. As Rollo says in his linked essay, early PUA’s could just tell instinctively. Once you know the concept you can tell by the IOI’s and the girl just plain being nice to you (i.e. lack of shit-testing).

And don’t be afraid to just ask. Or game her girlfriend “I heard when you hang out so much with so and so, that your cycles line up” Hows that for a conversation starter? Or if she refuses sex because she’s on her period, give her 10 more days. And women these days don’t conceal tampon wrappers on the top of their bathroom trash. All in all it is a very simple concept.

One problem though is that being on the pill blunts this effect significantly. And in today’s society, how many women aren’t on the pill? So the big irony is all this knowledge of her being dtf is most helpful in a LTR with a woman not on the pill. That’s a bummer, because the effect of ovulation is a very significant motivator in women.

  37. I wasn’t expecting much of the video, even after reading this great article. But I took the time to watch it, and it was really amazing. It’s the first time in a LONG time since I started reading your blog and others, that I watch something that is not so tainted with the feminine imperative. True, the american women of course whined about the usual, but what caught my attention was the deep insight of the men’s words. At some point, one said that the women(wife, girlfriend, whatever) treat men like one of the childs and it’s true, they try to do that all the time, but what the men said shows that we are not just big kids. I mean, this men were really aware of the way the were treated in the u.s and they saw a clear difference between that and the way other, more traditional cultures treated men. And that also translated to the behaviour of the women(I noticed the contempt in the fat lady’s words when she talked about european or ukranian women, treating them as sluts).
As allways Rollo, your articles are gold for us men and for that I’m grateful.

  38. @Mr. T,

    Your

wife’s income <<< husband's income= 'wet pussy, stiff dick' forever (or however you put it)

Wow. Yeah? That simple? What about

    wife's income<<<husband's income<<<<other neighborhood mens' incomes.

What happens to her vaj there?

    What about

wife's income<<husband's income and wifey is 240 pounds and actually has constricted arteries which basically cuts off hormone and blood flow to her vaj.

Still 'wet pussy forever' just because hubby pulled in 70k selling used cars in Tacoma, Washington and she sat on her ass eating butterfingers all day?

    Still some hot sex there?

I think you made a silly, inaccurate simplification of a complete mess of a culture when it comes to gender relations.

    @Bear,

    Nice comment.

  39. LOL at the 240 pounder at the 24:00 mark crying about men being attracted to….attractive women. Love the meltdowns when American cattle try to hamster away the fact that they are one solid c-note heavier than international babes. And the guys they’ve been bitching about their whole lives are now 8 SMV points higher than they are after a 12 hour plane ride. Love it.

  40. Is anyone aware of a written rebuttal by another evo-psych clinician to either Rollo’s or other evo-psych researchers’ who take the same position (a couple of which have been referred to on this site, but whose names escape me) insofar as hypergamy and the discussion of women’s dualistic sexual strategies is concerned?

To me, the FI concept, AF/BB, and the inability to reconcile inter-gender, conditioned ideals with reality seems impervious to disproval. And I’ve never seen such a response.

  41. @WalaWala: “I often hear this “Be a gentleman…” or “I’m looking for a gentleman…” from girls, some of whom I’m gaming.”

I’m in the same situation…”You’re not a gentleman are you?”…”No.” End of discussion. She’s fighting the urge to give it up. Good luck with that. meanwhile, other plates are being marinated.

Thank the universe for the RP….& Rollo Tomassi.

  42. @ Sun: “American women should be xenophobic as hell.”

Haha…after the whole YMY nonsense I foresee them working that xenophobia into law.

  43. @Jayfk

Since we are pretty much of one spirit here what do you guys think about a yearly Red Pill convention.

    No.

This ain’t a support group. While it kinda-sorta-almost serves a support/triage role for bad cases, you’re better off finding dudes you can connect with locally and building a good old-fashioned friendship with them.

Openly identifying yourself as Red Pill is social suicide in a lot of places, hence the reason most folks stay behind a handle. You’ve already found this out through your Facebook group experience. The news doesn’t report on it because it’s not a woman being attacked, but plenty of ‘sphere members have been threatened with rape, murder, and various other gruesome acts by angry feminists.

Scheduled “Red Pill” conventions? Yeah that’s gonna be subject to doxxing and the like pretty quick.

  44. @colonel

A recent scientific study (I don’t have the link) showed the more PhDs a woman have the more Cats she will adopt.

The same study showed that by the year 2025 the population of cats world wide would increase parallel to the amount of PhD obtained by women.

    Ps,
I am planning on establishing a cat import/export business in anticipation of the incoming booming business.

  45. One last thought.

It is shocking how women still have no clue about men.

Women, ,,,let me tell you something :

We don’t give a rat’s ass how many doctorate degree you have (stop projecting) we only care about you supplying sex and a good sandwich.

  46. Brazilian guy here, just wanted to clarify some misconceptions.

The thing with BR women is, the more educated they are, the more they look up to North American (translation: feminist) ideals. So we have the full spectrum here, from fat to athletic, feminist to feminine, poor with only prelim school to rich with college degree. The physical attractiveness just is what it is, doesn’t correlate at all with the other factors.

That being said, the BR women interviewed in the documentary above are all uneducated. I can tell by the Portuguese errors when they talk. But you can clearly see the femininity (flowing hair, etc.), so you see why North American guys are going for them.

Great article, what stood out most on the documentary for me was that everyone (even the guys) put the burden on men to fix the situation, except for the priest. The priest pretty much told those nagging women to do their role.

  47. @ Mr. T: ‘It is shocking how women still have no clue about men. ‘

    Have they ever bruv?

They don’t have to due to increasing prevalence and pervasiveness of the FI, feminine-primary thought, socialization, politics…

That is why most men, especially after the ‘awakening’ should really understand what ‘demonstrate, don’t explicate really means.

  48. @ Gordon:
“The thing with BR women is, the more educated they are, the more they look up to North American (translation: feminist) ideals. ”

I read about this on ROK here: http://www.returnofkings.com/33266/a-brazilian-man-talks-about-game-social-media-and-how-his-country-is-changing – very sad state of affairs.

But this is the trend generally as more traditional societies are overexposed to TV, social media, smart phones, and so on…

One thing though, I saw one commenter talk about looking for equality…I’m guessing he meant once a man has awoken and digested the red pill….No. Complimentarity bruv! That is evolution, reality, how we were made and what works.

  49. I must agree with Mr. T.
I travel a lot worldwide and nearly everywhere you can see, that the more educated the women are, the more they want to live the ideal of a modern western (feminist) way. This happens everywhere…in Africa, Asia and also in south america.

The correlation between “poor”, “uneducated” women and feminin women on one side and “educated” “more wealthy” women and beeing more unfeminine is clearly there in my opinion.

Of course there are some exceptions to that, but you can really sum it up like that for most women….worldwide!

    It was a nice video!

  50. One more last thought (I promise)

    Hey Women:

    I am gonna give you the best advice you will ever hear;
Save yourself 8 years of studying hard and go to the kitchen and open the fridge, grab the hot dog pack, take one hot dog and put it in the stove and take another one and practice with it!!!!

Spend one day only doing that and I guarantee you that little small effort would keep your man for ever.

  51. The game being played here?…. “Let’s you and them fight”….and you can pay me while I watch you fight….

    Consider the following two assertion’s.

    1. “The Cardinal Rule of Sexual Strategies:
For one gender’s sexual strategy to succeed the other gender must compromise or abandon their own.”

    2. “….In the beginning of this section I stated that men and women’s approach to love was ultimately complementary to one another and in this last model we can see how the two approaches – idealistic and opportunistic – dovetail together. That may seem a bit strange at this point, but when social influences imbalance this conventional complement we see how well the two should come together…..”

Obviously these two assertions are diametrically opposed. Complementary strategies do not require the compromise or abandonment of one or the other for mutual combined success. In other words, for the two strategies to be “ultimately complementary” and “dovetail together”, then both must be maintained. Neither can be abandoned or compromised if they are to be “ultimately complementary” and “dovetail together”.

Notice the “Cardinal Rule” states nothing about what “frame” one or the other strategy must be operated within.

Should the “Cardinal Rule of Sexual Strategies” be changed?

Or does there exist a more universal rule: The only integrity is an integrated lack of integrity. All things human are an ambiguous paradox.

    LOL

  52. Concerning individual psychologically in this sociological realm, I think Tomassi is correct regarding his White Knight-sole mate myth model of the “beta”. Tomassi is correct in his assessment that such self-identification cannot be practiced without self-degradation and personal demise. I agree with this because I indulged it as we all do (although we know it was bullshit) when I was adolescent; “unplugging” many years ago. Some others around me never seemed to “unplug” including my father.

However, after reading more of Tommasi I sense that he is chronically and compulsively obsessed with what he refers to as the masculine idealism of sexual “love”, man becoming aware of man’s predicament related to the results of embracing that idealization (the red pill) and his alpha / beta dynamic. Tommassi apparently believes the origin of these conditions originate from innate physiology and a modern conventional conditioning consensus which he describes as the “feminine imperative”. He encourages the abolition of his beta masculine love idealization by defining it as a “beta” characteristic that facilitates the personal demise of men enabling what he defines as hypergamy (he took Webster’s definition and expanded it into a duplicitous definition).

He claims this “beta” idealism applied within an “alpha frame” is the way things are “ultimately” “meant” to be and yet his definition of “alpha” itself is specifically devoid of this “beta” idealism. He is apparently trapped in an endless mental do loop, stuck in emotional mud at a psychological intersection, unable to select which personal image to embrace (alpha or beta) or how to merge the two.

Or, he is an opportunist. And the game being played here?…. “Let’s you and them fight”….and you can pay me while I watch you fight….

    Consider his following two assertion’s.

    LOL

  53. @introvertsuccess

Natural Selection will take care of countries that embrace feminist ‘equality’. Their fertility rates are way below replacement; extinction is very likely for Germany, Japan, Sweden, Italy, etc.

    https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/fields/2127.html

Brazil, mentioned in the video, is at 1.79, also below the needed 2.0 the CIA cites. They are in worse shape than the United States.

Those that spend their GDP on education will dominate those that spend their GDP on health care for the elderly.

    https://thedeclineandfall.wordpress.com/2015/03/11/equality-doesnt-increase-fertility/

  54. @447
Longtime lurker here, had to get a twitteraccount some days ago, so I thought I give a shoutout to Rollo, spiralled out from there.
Yeah, german Redpill/PU is very tame on the internet and is very reactive to outside stimuli of feminists and associated numbnuts, something I try to stay away from, lots of keyboardwarriors. Creating own narratives and ideas like RT does is far more powerfull.

Further ellaborating on this, building and finding male only groups and tribes in the meatspace seems to be far easier in Germany than in the US, at least that is my impression if I look at guys like Jack Donovan, who rightfully advocate this but have a hard time 1/realizing it and 2/getting that message accross to others.

  55. Black American females don’t meet an International standard of beauty or behavior much less American standards.

    Whoda seen that coming, eh?

  56. @Melmoth

LOL at the 240 pounder at the 24:00 mark crying about men being attracted to….attractive women.

Listen to the shaming language too.

“It’s sad” – She pities the men. And clearly this means they’ve failed because they’re being pitied.

“Most of them are sex workers” – Catty attempts to disqualify the women with no factual basis.

“That’s not love” – Yes, because having a land whale tell you to give her unconditional love while she passes judgement on you is “love”.

The dynamic between black men and black women has been bad for a long time according to a lot of black friends I have. Black American culture and the Japanese “herbivore” culture are simply a preview of what white culture is really heading in to.

If I can get my game tight and get laid by attractive women, Open Hypergamy really isn’t bad. It really plays in to the male sexual strategy. But the big problem is that the accompanying SMV inflation destroys the motivation women have to compete at the society-wide level. Sure the women are easier to hook up with, but there’s less of them worth hooking up with.

I don’t consider Open Hypergamy a problem because there’s more sluts. I consider it a problem because women become less competitive, and men wind up with far fewer good options to choose from even if they’ve got good game.

  57. @ Sun Wukong

Dude you need to move. Find a college town. One of those places where students are 1/3 to1/2 the population. Preferably somewhere at least an hour’s drive from a big city.

For all the things I hate about my home town the demographics are excellent. 40% of the women here are between 18 and 26.

  58. @Sun Wukong

I like how the other woman adds she intends on getting her master’s degree and has a dollar amount of what her husband needs to make to be acceptable. She seems quite picky but if she #LeansIn she will be just fine.

  59. @ Sun Wukong…

The dynamic between black men and black women has been bad for a long time according to a lot of black friends I have. Black American culture and the Japanese “herbivore” culture are simply a preview of what white culture is really heading in to.

I’m very aware of that and I wrote a blog about it here…

    https://homeiswherethehateis.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/how-the-west-will-resemble-the-black-community-or-worse/

    Sadly, people are catching on.

  60. Who actually gains by telling men that masculinity and the patriarchy are bad? That men shouldn’t be masculine and invest in a Patriarchal society?

I would think that urban black societies like Detroit invest in a Matriarchal society and then complain about the “men not being masculine and they don’t like them” = no different than letting a wife be dominant in a LTR and then she despises the husband for not being dominant.

Matriarchal societies can only marginalize masculine men and alienate them. Because the women want to be equalist and their only goal is to exert power, dominance, to become the captain and be the rational decider, with only emotions to fall back on. Then they realize, wait, we want a patriarchy stripped of all masculine traits. And look how that turned out.

A great parody of this dynamic is Jack Donovan’s chapter regarding Bonobo vs. regular patriarchal chimpanzee’s in the Congo in “The Way Of Men”. Matriarchal societies are perverted in the eyes of men.

The original video of this post was guys speaking to a male black audience and including women’s comments in the narrative to speak again to a male black audience.

Men being exclusive in groups in today’s society is vastly underrated (because of the feminine imperative society) but extremely valuable.
The original PUA community in the Game was an exclusive male cohort. Return of Kings–I have to believe– is successful because of the exclusion of females. This blog despite the occasional red pill girl post is pretty much exclusively male. I have progressed my alpha red pill, masculine self with socializing with like minded men in the last 2-5 years compared to being an independent male in the last 30 years.

Admittedly I have been a relative, but not an absolute INTJ social retard in the past. But now I am skilled at game in either absolute male or mixed sex groups. Game, Patriarchal skills, DHV, social proof, dominance, prior established wealth, passing fitness and comfort tests, improving self by weightlifting, understanding female evo and behavioral psyche of woman as described by Rollo– it all works.

“Here’s a cosmic secret revealed for you: “Real Power is the degree to which a person has control over their own circumstances. Real Power is the degree to which we actually control the directions of our lives.”–Tomassi, Rollo”

    My feelings exactly.

  61. The horizontal disorder syndrome is when a short man grows muscles in the hope of looking taller.
Unattractive women get more doctorate degrees in the hope of looking more attractive.

Look at all those beautiful super model -Heidi Klum – she’s got no degree!.
Well, I guess it’s all about compensating.

  62. @Mr. Odessa

What’s always really obnoxious to me is hearing white chicks talk with each other about how they really admire some obnoxious, loud, overweight black chick they know. “She’s so strong! She’s so opinionated! She doesn’t take shit from anyone. I really want to be like that, I don’t know how black women do it.”

The only thing I can think is “You really wish you were even more repellant to the males around you? And here I’ve always aspired to be better at meeting women while they aspire to be worse at meeting and keeping men…”

Of course, the whole thing could be a head fake to get their friends to go the wrong way while they get the guys instead by being less awful. I really never know these days.

  63. @ Mr. T,

I agree with 90% of what you’re saying, just not the oversimplification that earning more money than a women means Blue Lagoon levels of erotic energy for life with some superbabe. There’s so much more to consider.

  64. “You can’t play fair with someone that wants to wipe you off the map.”
    J. Donovan.

    Ouch!

I think Donovan even understates the problem a bit. You can’t win a fight you don’t even realize is already happening. That’s one of the strategies I have now in dealing with people. I want to start working against them without their knowing at all. I don’t want them to know there’s a fight rolling until I’ve got it just about wrapped up.

This is pretty much what the Blue Pill does to men. It blinds them to the fact that there’s even a fight happening, much less that the opponent is intent on winning through any means necessary.

  65. I’m glad to see you traveling if at least virtually Rollo. Spain which obviously has the advantage of a similiar language(and a worse infestation of feminism) has 20% of its men marry women from another country. Number one and two are Brazil and Colombia. For the record, despite their reputation I think Brazillian girls suck, and if the guys had gone a little further south they would have really learned what hot girls they can pull(who won’t immediately turn around and fuck their best friend). As far as investing in Brazil, most Americans go full retard thinking the future is always bright. In latin america things are good until they are bad, its always cyclical, and Brazil has peaked and is on its way down. Venezuela and Argentina are at the very bottom..soon they will rise. But really where you see the sexual role divides people are simply happiest. I know in colombia you can see women who have been burned a million times by boyfriends, but she is happy because she has hope. Latins in general have learned to survive bad conditions. As one friend told me..things are always bad if I had to wait for things to be good to be happy, I would never be happy. These are strange thoughts for people who havent known poverty or the loss of major wars. Incidently I thought it was pretty interesting you live in northern nevada, I;ve been seening a dark skinned Venezuelan girl that everyone thinks is Brazillian(I always tease her). Its a small world after all.

  66. You know the real irony, I’ve had several offers from latin girls that were richer than me and somehow it never seemed as condescending or superior as the black women with half-assed jobs in the video. Maybe the real sin is simply one of women with masculine egos. That confidence we’ve been trying to instill in women for so long, really isnt proper or desirable.

Black American females don’t meet an International standard of beauty or behavior much less American standards.
    Whoda seen that coming, eh?

Who’d see a short comment like that coming?

  68. American white chicks, IMHO, are essentially useless. They try too hard to be carbon copies of black women and emulate black culture to where it makes them look pathetic. I’m not just saying that because of Fergie or Iggy Azalea either. Some black men are stupid enough to assume white women are better than black women somehow just because they aren’t fat, loud and obnoxious. But believe me, white women love drama just as much as any other woman. They’re just more slick and underhanded about it and when they get great sex from a black guy, they become too clingy and possessive.

I’ll also say that even though all women love “bad boys”, black women do go too far with it. They choose those who have violent tempers and massive criminal records. They respect the street dudes more than they respect established Simps and potential providers. I don’t complain about it, though. The “strong educated” argument by black women is equivalent to white guys who plagiarize “game”, then brag about their superior IQ and other shit no one gives a damn about. It can be easily dismantled and it takes a real man to shut a bitch down.

  69. I am personally very familiar with Brazilian women and culture. Although Brazilian women initially start out much better than traditional “gringas” with value & respect towards quality men, it ends VERY quickly after they become acclimated to the American female agenda. They are constantly bombarded by both social and regular media feeding them the “norm” and fall right in line with what American women idealize… This is an unfortunate fact and something to consider if these men are considering bringing any of the Brazilian women back to the USA…

  70. No escaping the feminine matrix in American society. You must pay the bills and kiss the behind. Just for some vagina.
Learn to be alone young men. And don’t believe for a second their lies. They only care about themselves. Care only about Yourself.

  71. A poem for many of today’s women

    CLEOPATRA: QUEEN OF DENIAL

    I know a woman

Who lives in a quaint little world

    Self-designed for safety

    Its wall to wall pretense

    Compartmentalized for her convenience.

She will not be confused with facts

    No matter the number

    No matter the source

She likes the truth of things

To be like a soft, fluffy pillow.

Her vision is twenty twenty myopic

She wears round the eyes blinders

    Like a self-reigned racehorse

To hold her blue tinted eyes

On a straight and narrow path.

    She’s self-ordained herself a queen

Through a unanimous vote of one

In her mind, she’s so special

Though why exactly, she cannot say

Void of intellect, talent, or skill.

There are many others like her

    Emulating her and delusional ways

Though she’s known to the world

I have given her another name

    Cleopatra: Queen of Denial.

  72. Look at this video with Kevin Durant’s mvp speech. You can find other examples that are just like his speech where he gives credit to his success to the strong, financially struggling single mother. But his is the most recent and probably will be used the most now that Sheryl Sandeberg has paired up with the NBA for this new agenda.
Black women, and black men as well, love to recite the saga of the what the woman had to go through because the no good black man wasn’t around. And they’ll gladly profess that it’s “yet another example of….” But it’s still hands off when it comes to questioning why do they choose those kind of men or how they end up together. It’s still alpha fux, diggin’ on the bad boys, what they say they want vs. what they choose, ect…
So we have women who use their degree tally and income level as what they feel should be a measure of their desirability to men. On the surface you would think that it keeps the men that the struggling single mothers complain about out of the equation. But we have examples of men who at least have the resources to travel, as one man in the video said he’d been to Brazil 19 times and another said that he retired to Brazil. And I bring that up not to mean that income level is what it boils down to, but that none of the guys come across as the stereotype no good man that’s portrayed in movies and such. But they still feel they need to exercise the option of looking to an entirely different country when it comes to meeting women, dating, or forming relationships. It’s not about whether or not Brazilian woman are overrated or actually like what is said in the video. Or whether or not they’ll change once they’re brought to the states. You can make that argument with any woman from any country.

  73. @WCB

But it’s still hands off when it comes to questioning why do they choose those kind of men or how they end up together.

I wouldn’t say it’s hands off. I would say that’s the tacit acceptance of Open Hypergamy by the sisterhood. “Oh we all know why she did it, and you can’t blame her! She’s a Strong Independent Woman and she’ll make her own choices! Now why is there no BB around like there was supposed to be?”

Or whether or not they’ll change once they’re brought to the states. You can make that argument with any woman from any country.

Yep. Like I’ve said before: I expect if I opt to have children their mother will not speak English as her first language. However I’ve also considered that I probably will look for a path to citizenship where ever I find her as well. No way in hell I’m going to escape the problem only to come right back to it.

    @Odessa

American white chicks, IMHO, are essentially useless.

Well, I’d say any woman that spends sufficient time living on US soil becomes useless these days.

Some black men are stupid enough to assume white women are better than black women somehow just because they aren’t fat, loud and obnoxious.

Heh, that’s entirely a perception thing. White chicks are just less fat, loud, and obnoxious on average, but not by much anymore.

  74. Every since I was a kid I knew something was wrong. I had a strong father but every message to me as an adult from our culture has been out of line. Thanks to Rollo for opening my eyes.

People here and on r/theredpill and r/mensrights keep wondering what’s next – where does society go from here? I don’t know. But I do know as a man in his early 50s the biggest change I want to see in society before I die is respect for manhood. It’s been completely lost. If that gets fixed, everything else will eventually be okay.

  75. @Darryl

You know, I feel like if I’m truly learning the lessons of becoming a Man, I don’t particularly care where society goes during my lifetime. Partly because society is huge compared to me, and that huge object has so much momentum going the feminist direction right now that we have no possible way of changing it. But even more importantly is that a lot of MRAs and freshly unplugged AFCs have a victim mindset still. They want society to make itself stop hurting them.

Men have Power. Power is never given, it is taken. To expect society to be “fixed” is to expect someone to give Power back to males. As a Man, I will not wait for the day somebody gives me Power. It will never come, nor does a anyone waiting for that day deserve any Power. I will use what I’ve been learning here to take that Power and make it my own. Feminism be damned, society be damned. I will create a place for myself and control my own destiny.

If as Rollo posits Power is control/agency over one’s own life, then taking that Power for yourself is the only way to truly acquire and keep it.

This is why I might agree with the MRA assessment of societal ills, but I don’t necessarily agree with how they think we go about changing it. Individualistic reassertion of Power by individual Men displaying Positive Masculinity is how things will be fixed. It will be a slower fix, but it will be longer lasting and more beneficial to society as a whole in the end.

Damn True words. I couldn’t have said it better!!!

  79. @ everyone

I’m 31. Can some of you point out how you think I might judge a marriageable woman?
I want to just get some advice. I am thinking of passing my genes to the next generation. So far, best idea I have is to go to Thailand.

  80. Heading to Cuba in two weeks, its going to be a smashfest. Not even talking about the locals but Westerners and European women that travel there literally forget about their LTR’s and marriages and are down for getting slammed. Cant wait.

  81. I didn’t know if this was the right place to post this but here goes. It seems that psychology today wrote an article regarding Sheryl Sandberg’s advice to women.

    https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/repairing-relationships/201503/should-men-be-bad-boys-or-dutiful-providers

Now that hypergamy is more open we have more Mainstream sites talking about it. I’m curious to see if this eventually leads to a more massive shift towards red pill thinking in men.

  82. I know a black man who got a white woman pregnant on the first date, and they never got married (because she never really wanted him). Whose fault is it that the woman then ended up being the head of a fatherless household with a bastard child?

It’s not feminism’s fault. It’s the fault of that irresponsible prick male who couldn’t wait to ask a woman to marry him before diving into sex with her.

The only reason feminism succeeds is when men allow it to succeed, because the truth is that women cannot exist without male protection. They only have two choices: (a) get it directly from a man or (b) get it indirectly from a welfare government created by men that is propped up by technology (also created by men) that makes women seem stronger and more independent than they really are. Feminism is a delusion.

With that said, all the TV and movies I’ve ever watched taught me that men are strong and women are weak. Perhaps women are not as weak as they once were in the past, but they are still weak, so the natural order is still preserved. I still see girls being led by the hand by strong men in real life too. That small group of feminists who want to completely reverse things are living in their own little fantasy worlds.

  83. They could’ve shortened that documentary to: “A dollar goes a long way in Brazil. *show some titties popping out of bikinis* The End.”

“Far too many young men have failed to make a normal progression into adult roles of responsibility and self-sufficiency, roles generally associated with marriage and fatherhood,”

    Right.
    I’m no adult, I guess.
Though, despite it being framed here as “men being bums” and personally irresponsible, the reality is a matter of economy, not culture.

My grandfather had one job, a stay-at-home wife, and nine kids. He didn’t have debt, as he was able to afford his spacious home on a shoe factory job’s income. He was proud of not being “on the dole” and self-sufficient. Sounds like a “real man”, to me.

Could I do that same thing today? No. The economy has changed since Rosie the Ironworker entered the workforce. Now, the cost of the house requires two incomes, and the cost of everything else has doubled since back before modern men started their “failed adult progressions”.

I, for one, can say that I haven’t been in a position where I felt financially comfortable having a stay-at-home wife or kids. I’ve worked hard, did well, and was moving up in my career, like a good little drone. All the while, prices and costs kept pace with, then exceed my career’s growth and financial potential. Is it to be inferred that inflation is the fault of men, specifically? At the core, that is what the obstacle in any young man’s “adult” progression is, if marriage and fatherhood are the measure of “adulthood.”

Despite MY efforts, I haven’t attained marriage (not that I want to), and more importantly, haven’t attained fatherhood. It all gets back to a central issue: money. Of course, I could’ve went the “Idiocracy” way and knocked-up women with reckless abandon, without regard for financial or moral responsibility.

“Far too many young men have failed to make a normal progression into adult roles of responsibility and self-sufficiency, roles generally associated with marriage and fatherhood,”

I can’t afford a wedding. I can’t afford a kid. I am responsible, and self-sufficient otherwise. Somehow, I failed to be an adult?

I’m not responsible for the economy. It’s sickening how masculinity is measured by money in western culture. “Far too many young men”? Far too many young men hear: “Shame on you for not having the cash to buy a wife and kid: get back to work!”

It’s like Upton Sinclair’s social commentary in The Jungle: Jurgis “must work harder”. I’ll never get high score at that “money” video game; hackers got in and cranked up the difficulty after they posted crazy-high scores, so “kidult” is all I can realistically aspire to be. Oh, to be a real man like Bill Gates, or Warren Buffet!

    Pssf…
“Kidult” sounds pretty fun, actually. Fuck ’em.
    I’m going to Disneyland.

    No, make that Carnival.

  84. Vulpine – ” Far too many young men hear: ‘Shame on you for not having the cash to buy a wife and kid: get back to work!'”

It’s a double whammy. Say our young man gets a good job in a skilled trade. He’s going to be judged harshly in the SMP for being a mere plumber, dozer operator, etc. So becoming an adult today now has fashion/status attached.
Being a good provider with a secure job is the fast track to BB.

  85. @matthew

“It’s the fault of that irresponsible prick male who couldn’t wait to ask a woman to marry him before diving into sex with her.”

Bullshit. There were two adults involved. She’s as much to blame as he is, and her attitude that having a kid that way is A-OK or that the state will help her provide for what should be regarded as a mistake is a direct consequence of feminism.

I see two adults and feminism to blame there. Don’t try to put it all on the male unless he physically forced himself on her against her will. If she was consenting, she was to blame as well.

    @Vulpine

It’s just a thinly veiled “Man Up!” call from women who couldn’t land an employed HG5+ after ignoring them for over a decade. Treat it like background noise.

    @badpainter

“Being a good provider with a secure job is the fast track to BB.”

Agreed. After I’ve paid off my debts and put away cash for a few years, I’m going to move to work that’s lower paying but less stressful if it looks like getting rich won’t pan out. One way or another, I’m going to enjoy my life instead of pulling the cart like an obedient draft horse every day ’til I die.

  86. @chiggers: “It’s not feminism’s fault. It’s the fault of that irresponsible prick male who couldn’t wait to ask a woman to marry him before diving into sex with her. “
This is a wind-up, right? Are you Stefanny Zwan in disguise?

  87. @Vulpine and Mathew,,

Let’s say Vulpine and Mathew go for a walk to a cliff and they both look how deep it is, Vulpine asks Mathew to jump!

Now, Mathew, would you jump and blame Vulpine?.
