Field Reports

lion-chasing-gazelle

For the past three years of The Rational Male there’s been a consistent presence in the comment threads of guys seeking advice for particular situations with regards to Game. Whether it’s fine tuning certain aspects of Game or a larger consensus of the guys participating in my comment threads it’s become obvious there’s a need for a dedicated page and comment thread to address these Field Reports.

So I’m instituting this page for exactly this. If there is some urgency to have members of The Rational Male community analyze your particular situation feel free to hit anyone up in the comments of my current post, but please refer them to your particular field report with a link to your comment here. I’m hoping this will alleviate the mass of posts for field report analysis and Game specific insights piled into the main blog post for any given week.

There will be some rules for this “forum” as such. I ask that you only keep your comments to addressing the field reports at hand and save your larger theoretical stuff for the main posts, or if relevant, keep the “bigger scope of things” posts to being as succinct as possible. There will be no moderation in this comment thread (spamming excepted), so realize it will be a very hot kitchen before you post. I will impose no restrictions on video links here, nor will I limit links to various, but pertinent articles.

Understand, this is an experiment for now. It’s likely this comment thread will exceed thousands of comments. I’ll be instituting new comment plug-ins for wordpress to deal with this in the future, but I may archive this page the the posts and refresh this page in the future as well. If this gets cumbersome I may simply institute a dedicated forum-style sub-site of The Rational Male to accommodate for Game specific questions.

So have at it, post your field reports and feel free to comment on the ones you have some particular insight for. Be forewarned that it’s likely things may get a bit salty at times and I expect a lot of back & forth with debate and disagreements, but that’s what this thread is for – to hash out Game particulars for your given situations.

Biden is sending drones?!

In the Balkans the expense ratio for this little trick was about 1000/1 (charitably).
We’d throw million dollar missiles to take out cheap old trucks and fake tanks.
They shot down a lot of drones out there too. People forget because our drones haven’t faced any real airforce or anti-aircraft capability in a long while. So folks are under the impression they are impervious to being shot down.

@Liz Yeah well, they don’t actually get it yet. In the cold lite of day we buy all our shit from someone else, and we get a load of our energy from somebody else. I haven’t checked the dictionary definition of banana republic, but ^^ that’s probably as close as it gets. What we do have is the normalcy bias attached to the legacy of our fiat currencies. When I worked in Moldova they had the lei. And it was laughed at but I took it quite seriously as it pretty much did represent a receipt for the exchange of… Read more »

Palma – you had to get your information about crypto from somewhere right? I mean, the basic information on which you based your decision that it’s just a bubble, etc? I am assuming that’s from what you read in the mainstream media because I am fairly sure you didn’t go and do research on niche crypto sites and blogs. If so – you’re basing your opinion on (at best) incomplete information and more likely misleading/outright wrong information, depending on exactly what you read. I’d love opinions from the room on why they get angry I say it’s the cognitive dissonance as their fundamental model of the “safe and eternally secure” reality gets challenged. Add to that the reason it gets challenged being not “the Russians” but really those VIPs and top-tier-politicians we shall believe only want our freedom and wellbeing. You can hardly resolve those two without abandoning one. and @OTP: I think you’re partly right on that crypto is at least similar to gold but easier to transfer, yet as Palma and (before him) Sentient pointed out, it’s way to volatile to… Read more »

@NNN1 Thanks for your thoughts on their anger… lol. I think you’re partly right on that crypto is at least similar to gold I don’t think there are any similarities. For starters gold has real world use – it’s an incredibly good transmitter, and is used as such. Then there’s jewellery. I’ve no doubt like diamonds, MOAR could be mined, and if it was to a substantial degree then the value would drop, so what would be the point? So for the first (and last) time, I’ve actually googled crypto and look what cropped up:

https://imgur.com/a/6A6VWPJ

So these things are two separate “currencies” and yet their “value” is almost a mirroring, not in quantum but in variance.

It just can’t be the case.

They can’t have the same variance in “value” unless it’s all emotion. The same “type” of people are getting the same emotions and that’s driving their behaviour to buy or sell. The “currency” of choice is irrelevant.

Anyway. I’ve always been bored with this conversation, you all gotta go do what you’re gonna do.

@NNN1 why aren’t you banging college girls and reporting back?!

You should be honing your micro calibration.

Back in November 2020, the RD was on the other end of my sofa having refused the make out and look where I am now.

Turning that was micro calibration.

You need to be focusing on that if you are to get what you want when you want it.

Business is also detail and micro calibration. The difference between profit and loss / success and failure is micro calibration.

Life is about understanding when it’s necessary and being able to do it.

And the divorce was now 10 years ago.

I’m not selling solar panels but electricity I created with them installed on my roof, so the only “customer” would be the system operator who mediates the subsidies guaranteed for 20 years now. Back then he wasn’t attach more power to the net, but we now are – so we might get that extra kWhs.

Basically because we’ve been inventing munny for decades now everything has become leveraged to the limit. “Normal” behaviours have underwritten income streams (which arise from behaviours like going to work in the zitty, and buying ghey double sloppy soy latte – real men drink black Americanas obv..) – and pre wuflu the income streams which arose from these behaviours were very stable, predictable, and taken for granted. $106k a month is a broken (functioning) supply / demand situation.

There is a problem with supply of pilots.

Where supply cannot support demand, the price rises until the consequence of the rise reduces demand.

So either they need more pilots fast, or fares will rise until demand for flights decreases.

If I were Mike right now, I’d bag me some of that loot, fuel prices could soon blow so hard that fare prices rise massively and then demand for flights and pilots will drop. So the money won’t be on the table.

That was my first thought as well, but a) It seems an awful coincidence that the SMS is (apparently) from a model who was in the right time and place and agency to have been trained by him a few years ago, even if he doesn’t remember her or remember giving her his number. Scammers could have picked any one of hundreds or… Read more »

“None of this is proof and we’ll never know for sure, but I don’t think it’s that clear cut that it’s a scam.”

So why not call the number?

BTW- if he was in her contacts from the agency (maybe a friend gave her his number, maybe the agency etc.) and it was a hack, that would establish the link.

The phone rang but no answer – which makes sense since she probably doesn’t answer calls from unknown numbers. Hahaha I’m on a Telegram channel where a lot of old (now deleted) RSD videos are archived, and I download and save some of them (I try to avoid the ones of Tyler talking a lot and focus more on the infield ones), and a new batch recently got posted after over a year. Some of them are scraped from YouTube, but some appear to be out-takes and some non public stuff. The very first one had me laughing out loud in my office and people sitting nearby wondering wtf was going on (fortunately no one can see my screen)… Read more »

That’s some spergy brainsmoke overthink and I’m real surprised that’s been Rollo’s take. I watched about an hour or so of his video and was very surprised. Plus Rock reacted exactly like a guy who wasn’t expecting a slap would react… He didn’t have time to raise his hands and just tucked his chin. That’s NOT evidence he knew it was coming. He was standing there, open as a way to defuse the situation and never thought in a million years the Fresh Prince would smack him live on TV, then go on and commit multiple FCC violations when he was favored to win the big award…

Here is KS take https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRkYyyVibe0

Will Smith was peak Hollywood.

Black, Musician ($$$), Comedy ($$$), Drama ($$$), Superhero ($$$), Box Office ($$$) Disney ($$$), Animation ($$$) etc.

He had EVERY DEMO. He was BANK.

[All he needed to add was trans to be bigger… lol]

Why would ANY of his many, many advisors (who make off of what he makes) suggest a fake slap setup was good for the brand? At a minimum he was dividing an undivided audience.

No way Pfizer can make up the difference…

Oh is the Pfizer/setup thing also Rollo’s theory? I don’t have the patience to watch videos and podcasts – I just saw it on Twitter somewhere. To me the main reason to think it is legit is simply looking at his face in the video – the veins are popping out and the tension and frustration and rage when shouting at Rock are so palpable you can almost feel it. I don’t think he’s a good enough actor to fake that (plus yes, the Occam thing is on point – it’s just a much simpler explanation). PS – My wife… Read more »

@Sentient And there in lies the apology lesson. Never apologise. And especially never apologise to a woman or a baying mob. You just verify that you did something wrong. If you remember when I flicked the wine at that woman that I poasted a year or so back, there was a demand for an apology. If I’d apologised the entire table would have turned on me. From memory I think I said “it’s not my fault you didn’t understand what happened there, and I’m not apologising” Will should have owned it and claimed self defence. Very true Palma

And the apology says what to m’lady? He didn’t mean to defend her honor? Lol. A double bind.

The alpha move, would simply be “I said what I said” and move on and take the consequences.

This is how The Platinum Rule works, it’s part of the process, owning and living through the consequences without apology.

Smith’s dress wearing xon showed more alpha with his tweet… 😆🤣😂😹

The biggest difference I noticed in that article Sentient posted about the Smith apology is how the tone was completely different from the coverage on the first day. This was very critical of Smith but he was generally getting plaudits on the first day. Almost as if his apology made the mob turn against him.. I also had the pleasure of explaining to my son over dinner exactly why Smith was a loser cuck who didn’t even have the self respect to leave his wife (in different words but basically that). Report from Friday, nothing spectacular. I go there with a friend of mine, arriving about an hour late. It’s a party thrown by E. I suggest everyone keeps in mind that while Putin has a lot more cards and options than the Western media likes to portray, he doesn’t have it all his own way either, and it is just not as simple as selling Russian oil to China and India and getting on with his life. While he may still do it if pushed far enough, There are excellent reasons why he has not completely cut off the West and Europe yet, purely in his own self-interest, not because he’s honourable and maintains his contracts or whatever. Palma, I agree – it’s not pain free for Putin, but there will come a time when it’s worth it for him to do it and cut off the West, and take the consequences, and the more pressure he’s placed under, the more likely he is to do it.

And I think I saw that Biden has just called for Putin to be tried as a war criminal, so the escalation is continuing. Almost as if the West is looking for a casus belli to justify sending troops into Ukraine to fight Russia directly, which is just insane.

OldTimePoster

Actually, come to think of it – that’s the main reason Putin hasn’t cutoff the oil and gas to the West yet.

He doesn’t want to be in a position where the West thinks “well, hes cutoff the oil/gas now, so we have nothing more to lose [except nuclear war, but that hasn’t occurred to them], so we may as well as send in the NATO troops and finish Vlad off and take the oil for ourselves- quick, let’s make up some spurious reasons about war crimes and massacres and drive the public into supporting it”
