Interview with Obsidian & Special Announcement

WHykAVwBpqkGw1Ii3hQKTyJNPyMpKMsqRwK44rzEBlETlmsQOqAV1rxTMDeASOsW_large_2

Last Friday I had the opportunity to return to Obsidian’s blogtalk radio show. It’s been a while since I’ve been on live with O and Allan Roger Currie and it’s always enjoyable, especially when it’s a call-in show. I really think Obsidian fills a very vital role in serving the African-American community by marrying Red Pill awareness to Black culture. One of the aspects of Red Pill awareness that I believe is very profound is that it’s not limited to one culture, age demographic, ethnicity, religious or political affiliation. The Red Pill and understanding intersexual dynamics are universal, and yet it’s never a one-size-fits-all proposition. That’s one of the greatest strengths of the Red Pill community – the manosphere at large – it’s open to all men from all walks of life to contribute their experiences to. It’s also my belief that this ‘open source’ nature of Red Pill awareness should also be protected from elements that would seek to limit it in the scope of race, creed or religious/political stripe.

Simultaneously, this open source nature is also something that frightens Blue Pill believers locked into our feminine-primary social order. The fact that this community is so broad in terms of demographics and socioeconomic levels of the men who seek and find it is something that really threatens the ego-investments of people still trapped in the Matrix of the Village. We discussed this at length in this interview. It’s interesting to me how fluidly Red Pill detractors will reinvent their rationales to the same, very old, debates we’ve been hashing out for years.

We covered a lot of material in this interview, and by that I mean stuff I don’t generally get asked about. The show I’ve linked here is actually 2 hours of what went on for a 3 hour discussion. The first 2 are free of course, but if you want to get the bonus hour Obsidian requires a membership subscription. As I was saying, this show is primarily aimed at a Black audience, and I’m proud to say The Rational Male has an extensive following Black men. It’s always enjoyable to me to get feedback from men in cultures I may not have a foot in. The trials and solutions may be in a different context, but the understanding is very much Red Pill.

So, have  listen here (link in the picture too) and let me know what you think in the comments.

Jack Donovan confirmed for the 21 Convention!

Things at the 21 Convention are getting real interesting lately. Due to scheduling problems (I believe due to his boxing training) Ed Latimore will regrettably not be able to join us in Orlando. I’m understandably bummed about this, but to offset this news we have had another Red Pill heavy hitter who’s just confirmed he’ll be speaking.

Jack Donovan will be a featured speaker this year!

I figure most of my readers know who Jack is, but for those who don’t he’s the author of The Way of Men, Becoming a Barbarian and A Sky Without Eagles and the proprietor of Masculinity and Tribalism.

You can read Jack’s announcement here. This addition really makes this convention a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend what’s being called a ‘Red Pill Summit’ now. Myself, Jack, Goldmund, Christian McQueen, Tanner Guzzy, Anthony Johnson, Stonepimpletilists (Married Red Pill sub-red), Ross Jefferies and so many more are going to make this convention something to remember.

Anthony’s informed me that we’re down to the last 45 tickets already. Right now the price for the 4 day event is $999, however this will increase to $1099 beginning June 1st, so if you’ve been on the fence about attending – and maybe Jack’s inclusion decides it for you – now’s a good time to make your travel plans.

You can learn more about the convention from my original post here. And you can always listen to the podcast I did recently with Anthony here.

Feel free to leave and questions or comments about the convention in this comment thread too.

The price tag on the conference is a $1000.

Christian Mcqueen is organizing the event.

Christian Mcqueen who has a reputation of fucking people over.

Now you also got an actual goddamn white supremacist on the bill: Yeah, that’ll sell it.

You should probaly learn the difference between a White supremacist and a White separatist but I get such things are beyond the ability of most of the sheep

Anthony Johnson is, as always, organizing the event.

Jack Donovan is a tribalist. He is no more a white supremacist than is a Maasai tribalist, and a Maasai tribalist is no more a black African tribalist than is Jack Donovan.

@D

The full price tag is actually $1,499, at the door, if any tickets are left. But right now tickets are $999, so $500 off. And in April they were on sale for $799.

More you wait, more you pay.
Less you wait, less you pay.

It’s very simple.

Also, PSA, Christian McQueen and I have not merged into the same human being. He is a guest speaker, like Rollo, Jack, Goldmund, Tanner, etc.

At no point has any stated Christian is organizing the fourteenth 21 Convention event.

@Rollo,

Dont take this the wrong way – when you start affiliating yousefl with “Conferences” that cost $1K, you start to look like Hilary Clinton, BH Obama (i.e. a whore)

dude, the conference is affordable for us proles, or its not a conference at all. Is this like a 40’s + rich dude “workshop”, lol

Credibility decreasing move.

I dont understand it.

So Nathan, why not set up a cheapo meetup? I’d attend if it wasn’t too far.

Anthony Dream Johnson

@Nathan Live events like this are complex, expensive, and extremely time/effort consuming to setup properly. The end product/design looks shiny, simple, and clean – because of the mountain of work and money that went into making it function and look that way. The reality is, if I charged $5 for a ticket, most attendees would still spend over $1,000 on airfare, hotel, food, uber, drinks, etc. Closer to 2k for anyone travelling across an ocean, which many guys are. Most of our attendees are 24-35 years old. They work hard, and find a way to make it happen, because they… Read more »

My opinion, and we are all entitled to one, stands.

@Rollo
Rollo, point taken. And yes, I’m buying book 3 count on it.

@Nathan: I understand what you are saying but overall – Rollo’s material is free and he doesn’t monetize the site in any way, no annoying ads (annoying or not), no loss of credibility or crisis of motive. He has basically all the stuff that is in the first books in the website compiled in the “Best of”, and much more, and they appear here first. I don’t actually remember him saying he is fine with people pirating his books (maybe being that open could get him in trouble with the publisher) but you can just infer that he is from… Read more »

I liked the fact Obsidian played devils advocate with some of the scenarios he presented. The further away from the manosphere you go, the more standardised those views are. I also liked the whole canary in the coalmine analogy. If we’re being brutally honest, we have to accept there’s a cultural hierarchy in society and civilization at large. If a black woman obtains something from a man she’s casually seeing. Every other culture of woman will expect the same, by default. That’s how I interpreted Obsidian’s comment. A black woman sets the minimum, acceptable standard. The caller rightly sees himself… Read more »

Wow. @ Ollie totally misunderstood ” canary in a coalmine ” analogy. It’s got zero to do with minimum standards, lol. Its about pathologies, usually artificial and enabled or enforced via the state in some manner. The negative side effects usually manifest, in this particular case, in communities of color first – ie: the destruction of marriage and family structure. When the pathologies are allowed to fester over generations, they become somewhat normalized. Then it’s just a matter of time until they spread more widely. Always. In this case it’s feminism backed by the power of state and federal legislation… Read more »

“When the pathologies are allowed to fester over generations, they become somewhat normalized.”

Let them go on a bit longer and they become demanded as cultural identity.

I listened to the show as posted. The technical quality was terrible. However, the whole listen was worth it for the “pussy snaps back” comment. My recollection was that it was somewhere in the 1:46 mark.

I was glancing at the Infogalactic entry on Jack Donovan yesterday and came across the en.wikiquote page of quotes of his. It’s worth reviewing. And if any readers haven’t read his Book The Way of Men, make sure to give it a read. Especially with the recent NATO summit news and photographs and videos, it seems that men have lost all framework about what masculinity is in today’s society, including what value unrepentant masculinity has and how it works. https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Jack_Donovan “In this case it’s feminism backed by the power of state and federal legislation and enforcement. Men become demonized and… Read more »

Trump’s Euro tour was a power play. He made it clear that he isn’t afraid to walk away from Europe–that Europe needs the U.S. far more than the U.S. needs Europe. And dissing the Climate Change Treaty was brilliant and needed to be done.

Masterful.

Trump’s behavior at the NATO summit was an attempt to usher the return of the masculine man in a world where masculinity is being increasingly punished and shamed in favor of creating an androgynous and politically-correct society that allows women to assert superiority and control over men. Sadly, yesterday’s masculinity is today’s misogyny. (–borrowed, of course, from the Return of Kings site ‘about’ statement) And those leaders of Germany and France are trying undermine his attempts. (With Maricon being the more effeminate of the two.) With a Feminine Supremacist and Globalist Stance (devoid of Tribalism) and out-group altruism. Their in-group… Read more »

Don’t ask for it to be easier ask yourself to be better. Where their is a will their is a way normally. For those wanting to attend the conference but cannot justify the cost have any of them thought to volunteer time or service to the function in exchange for attendance ? Such as ushering or security. Or to help back stage with all the tasks that go with a production such as this ? I have always learned more in the participation of something than as spectator of it. I will not attend either way. LOL!!! Dude please tell me that wasn’t a mistake. You deliberately misspelled that didn’t you?

“Maricon” is Spanish for Flaming Cock-sucker.

@Blaximus Marriage is an adopted, cultural practice in black culture and until recently a sizable number of black people simply couldn’t afford it. The advent of a black middle class allowed marriage to be more commonplace, but not in a comparable way to the culture it originated from. The fluidity of the family structure in black society is widely accepted. There was no hard and fast structure to destroy. You’ll recall this was mentioned by the caller on Obsidian’s show. He said he remembered his own mother, brainwashing him into doing the right thing by his ex wife and her… Read more »

@ Ollie Really man, “Marriage is an adopted, cultural practice in black culture and until recently a sizable number of black people simply couldn’t afford it. The fluidity of the family structure in black society is widely accepted. There was no hard and fast structure to destroy.” I know I’m only 56 years old, but I’ve seen a lot in that half century. @Blax Practically no one I know of my generation was raised in a single family home, unless the father died somehow, and even then uncles or other males in the community stepped in to help. That’s what I remember from high school in the burbs. Black kids came from two-parent homes just like white kids. Inner city may have had more single moms, but I didn’t run with anyone from the inner city, so IDK about the inner city. When I was in elementary, I was the only kid with divorced parents and I felt ashamed of it. My family… Read more »

The ghetto is being translated to mean ” black “. That hurts muh feelz…. lol.

@Blax

I have a female cousin who is liberal and a lawyer, but her morals are very traditional and she’s religious. Her husband works for legal aid and is more liberal than my cousin. Of course, their political views are determined by their income source…both feed at the public trough.

I don’t talk religion or politics with them. They are political black sheep in a deeply conservative family, lol.

I used to discuss religion and politics with people, but now I see the wisdom of my mother’s teaching to not do that with people in real life.

“You can widely accept anything you’re told, if you have zero direct experience. People believe a lot of dumb shit when they don’t have experience to fall back on.”

I’m more and more running across people who I know not only don’t understand what they’re talking about, but don’t have an actual thought in their head.

Because they all quote the same things they read in a course, virtually verbatim. It’s like their “knowledge” is some sort of catechism. They can’t even put it in their own words. Discussion of the finer points is right out.

This is why you are the only writer that i consistently follow. My issue with many red pill forums is that they seem to be used as cover for white-nationalist manifestos. TRP should be for *all* men, as it is universal to all races, religions, geography. Listening to racist whinings is a turn-off for a large number of men (i.e non-whites). If i wanted a rant i could just watch any cable news show. It’s great to see that you stick to the topic instead of tangenting to race, politics, religion, etc (unless it’s relevant).
