Overall, I disagree. The single real useful message of man-o-war-sphere sites is basically to avoid looking and acting like a doe-eyed sap. Also, note that the NYT opinion piece, written by one of the researchers, approvingly uses loaded words like “traditional stereotypes” and “sexism”; not very scientific.
