Porn has been a disaster for both men and women. The reason women should hate porn is not “violence against women,” it’s that it provides (in many men’s minds) a legit alternative to having to deal with a real woman’s crap.

Think about the “innocent” porn of the 1920s and 1930s and even up through the early 2000s, before the current state of the internet. A magazine under the bed. Grandpa might have a “girlie calendar” in the garage–in plain view of Grandma and she didn’t care. This calendar showed girls in bikinis–not naked and nothing like what we have today–MOVIES on demand that show every vile perverted thing one could imagine.

I have found myself struggling with this even after taking the red pill. Getting involved with women can literally ruin your life. They call the police when you didn’t hit or threaten them; they file false “regret rape” accusations, they fuck with your mind and cause deep depression, which can lead to “stalking” them on the internet (too easy today).

It is a legit MGTOW option to simply use porn to get a release and not enter the shark tank of dealing with real women.

Whether that’s wimpy or right or not, it absolutely is a choice, even if subconsciously, that many men are making today.

It’s the women who should complain — less good, mentally stable men for them to find.

Oh yeah, porn also messes up your mind, like a drug. On a day to day basis, there are literally hundreds of men in any given city who jack off to porn and then don’t go out that night, when in 1984 they would have gone out and met a real woman.

It is truly a sad state of affairs right now.

In my personal opinion, AWARENESS is key. I used to post the following (mostly as a reminder to myself)…

Life is lived forward. Eyes front, so you can see what’s coming at you.

And I believe Athol focuses on a bit more on being more Alpha, mostly because in LTRs and Marriage, most husbands (myself included) take lots of “side steps” attempting to “keep the peace” with their wives, believing it makes the relationship better. Therefore, even if you started out higher on the Alpha scale when you first met/got married, over time, the scale starts sliding to Beta. He’s basic concept is to keep it in balance.

Of course, there are many that will argue that it should in the Alpha/Beta scale, you will always be better off (for yourself and relationship) if you are more Alpha and less Beta – but as they saying goes “your mileage may vary”.

so this may have been covered already, but I don’t think Athol’s blue pill comments were focused on giving up red pill awareness. My take was that he was advocating “blue pill” (beta) behaviors to increase the overall fullness/health of the marriage. NOt from a blue pill lack of awareness, but because those behaviors are necessary for a supportive and healthy relationship.

I’ve run into this myself, so it rings true. Going from blue pill to red pill (bitter…bitter…red pill…) has left me initially with that paranoia he described. I stopped almost all “beta” and focused on “alpha.” NOw, while attraction is way up, the comfort/support side of the relationship has taken a big enough hit that it is becoming a problem. So, I don’t think Athol was suggesting taking away red pill, he was saying to add in extra beta [formerly blue pill (unconscious) behaviors], with a red pill awareness.

If you find the posting on NMMNG would love to read it. I can imagine how “insensitive” they guys were over there to the poor woman – hell they’re rough for some of the men that whine. I will say, that I’ve had to take a break from the board (mostly the Married section) because it’s a trauma ward – and I can only take so much of it. But plan on returning when my batteries recharge – because there are lots of Men that need other Men to help them along.
