Exactly. They will do it because it is in their interest (and genetic programming) to continue doing it and hamstering it away with rationalisations. And a couple of girls singing about it feels so much more comfortable in an “us-vs-them” sense than two men doing the same. Perhaps excepting some famous, heart-throb status musicians lamenting about their lost, true loves this way… But that would be another kind of performance altogether, not one to spontaneously elicit similarly unkind note-comparing.

Oddly enough, the manosphere has led me to realize how “red pill” i have been throughout my life naturally, but since I didn’t know anyone who shared my sentiments I’d give women the benefit of the doubt and go against my gut much to my dismay. People use to tell me that my way of thinking was “wrong” with respect to gender dynamics (when I’d actually open up honestly about it).

I have similarly always been tuned to potentially hazardous (for a relationship) character traits, or what I’d now call “red flags”; I’ve wondered how no-one else seems to have noticed those in others or at least hinted at them, not to mention barrelling into a relationship slash marriage with a fvcking nutcase. But love conquers all. And pillages and levels, if need be.

The key lyric here is “You did nothing wrong. I have no excuse.” We can’t expect women to follow the rules that betas want them to.
